Homeless

This graph shows the percentage of students, at this school, who do not have permanent or adequate homes.  Learn More

Federal and state laws require school districts to provide additional help and support for homeless students. Services may include education, transportation, and healthcare, as well as removing barriers to school attendance. The district is responsible for actively reaching out to homeless students and families to make sure that they have the support that they need.

Homeless students may include those who are sharing housing with other individuals due to loss of housing, living in non-housing locations, substandard housing, living in emergency or transitional shelters, are abandoned at hospitals, or awaiting foster care placement.
