The Illinois Youth Survey is a self-report survey of 8th, 10th, and 12th grade students conducted during the spring of even-numbered years. Administered in school settings, it is designed to gather information about a variety of health and social indicators including substance use patterns and attitudes of Illinois youth. IYS is supported by the Center for Prevention Research and Development (CPRD) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. For more information, visit iys.cprd.illinois.edu.
