For the district level, the numeral above shows the sum of the different principals from each school in the last 6 years divided by the total number of schools

Stable leadership motivates teachers and creates a positive environment for students; however, a change in leadership can also be a part of a school or district’s overall improvement plan (e.g. strong principals may be moved to lower performing schools, or weak principals may be removed from school leadership in general). Therefore, interested parties should look more deeply into the turnover rate to determine the effectiveness of school leadership.
